ConveyorSorter

In automated logistics equipment, conveyors and sorters are one of the core components. These machines often rely on rollers to move goods or materials. In order to control the transportation speed and adapt to different work needs, brushless reduction motors are often used. Brushless geared motors have higher efficiency, longer service life and require less maintenance than brushed motors.

Integration of roller brushless gear motor

Roller-type brushless gear motors used in conveyors and sorters usually integrate the reducer and brushless motor in the same housing and are compactly placed inside or at the end of the roller. This design saves space and improves the neatness and efficiency of the entire system.

Control system

The control system includes sensors, microprocessors and electronic speed regulators. Sensors such as Hall effect sensors are used to detect the rotor position. The microprocessor calculates the required output based on input signals (such as speed requirements, load feedback, etc.) and instructs the electronic speed regulator to accurately control the current in the motor windings.

Operating principle

  • Start-up phase:
  • The control system receives the start command and the microprocessor sends a signal to the electronic speed regulator.
  • Acceleration phase:
  • ESC gradually increases the current supplied to the motor windings, and the motor speed begins to increase.
  • Deceleration stage:
  • The control system receives the start command and the microprocessor sends a signal to the electronic speed regulator.
  • Fixed speed stage:
  • The microprocessor maintains the stable operating speed of the motor based on sensor feedback.
  • Stop phase:
  • After receiving the stop command, the current in the motor winding is quickly reduced to zero, and the motor stops running.
