Solar

A Solar Tracker is a device used to improve the efficiency of solar panels. It ensures that the solar panels always face the sun to receive maximum solar radiation. To accomplish this, trackers typically use motors to adjust the position of the solar panels. Permanent magnet brushed DC motors (PMDC) and brushless DC motors (BLDC) are two common choices.

For solar trackers, whether you choose a brush or brushless motor, the purpose is to effectively adjust the angle of the solar panel to track the sun, thereby improving energy conversion efficiency. The specific choice of motor type often depends on factors such as cost, complexity, performance requirements and expected service life.
