A manufacturer
Yifan Motor began in 1993 producing single-phase AC motors. Three decades later the company supplies a complete motion control range — brushed and brushless gear motors, single- and three-phase AC motors, universal motors, planetary gearboxes, drive controllers and integrated robotic actuators — to OEMs in robotics, photovoltaics, intralogistics, switchgear, access control and recreational vehicles.
Winding, gear machining, assembly and testing are all performed in the Wuxi base. That vertical integration is the reason a customised sample can be built in 7–10 working days, and the reason a failure analysis can be traced back to the batch of steel or copper that produced it.

Founded in Wuxi
Motor production begins in Jiangsu province with single-phase AC motors for domestic appliance and light industrial customers.
2001
Gear motor integration
In-house gear cutting and assembly capability is added, turning the company from a motor supplier into a gear motor supplier.

Export programme launched
Direct supply agreements with European and North American OEMs begin; CE and RoHS declarations are established across the range.
2013
IATF 16949 quality system
The plant is certified to the automotive quality standard, bringing APQP, PPAP and statistical process control into industrial motor production.
2017
Brushless and drive electronics
BLDC platforms and the YF-DRV controller range are introduced, completing the motor–gearbox–controller product chain.

The company lists on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange ChiNext board, funding expansion of the manufacturing base and R&D capacity.

Assembly
Manual and semi-automated assembly lines for gear motors and actuator modules, organised by product family to keep changeover short.
End-of-line testing
Every unit is tested for no-load current, insulation resistance, hi-pot strength, output torque and speed before packing.
