What is the minimum order quantity for gear motors?
Standard models ship from 1 piece for evaluation and 50 pieces for regular orders. Customized gear motors with special shafts, flanges, connectors or gear ratios usually start from 200 pieces per specification, and we can discuss lower volumes for long-term framework agreements.
How long does a sample take?
Samples of standard models are dispatched within 3 to 5 working days after the specification is confirmed. Customized samples, including modified gear ratios, shafts, brakes or drivers, typically require 10 to 15 working days for machining, assembly and in-line testing.
Can you supply the motor, gearbox and controller as one integrated set?
Yes. We supply matched sets of motor, planetary or spur gearbox and driver or controller, pre-wired and tested together as a single drive unit. The set is delivered with a common mounting interface, matched cable harness and a parameter file for the controller, which shortens integration time on your equipment.
Which parameters can be customized for OEM projects?
Gear ratio, output speed, torque, shaft diameter and keyway, flange pattern, voltage, brake type, encoder resolution, protection class, lubricant, cable length and connector can all be customized. Send us the duty cycle, ambient conditions and mounting drawing, and our engineers will return a proposal with the recommended model and test data.
What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?
Standard gear motors carry a 12 month warranty from delivery, covering material and workmanship defects under the rated duty cycle. Extended warranty terms are available for project contracts. Our technical team responds to installation, commissioning and failure analysis questions within 24 hours on working days.
